Though not in NYC, we loved virtually following the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck all summer long, make sure you don’t miss it this summer.
THE BIG GAY ICE CREAM TRUCK we hear tastes as good as it looks. One post on their site has a description of the “Monday Sunday is a waffle cone lined with Nutella, twist ice cream, Dulce de Leche, sea salt, and whipped cream.”
The Yogurt Stop on Santa Monica in West Hollywood is the best yogurt in town, hands down! Make sure you try for yourself and tell them about hearing about them on Equal Junction.
One of the coolest looking little eateries on the blvd. The skinny: the lady owners have committed fully to equality while creating some of the most creative and delicious yogurts you’ll eva’ taste. Flavors like Milk My Harvey Chocolate, Cappuccino Crush On U, Get Lucky Irish Mint-yogurt’s with sass flavor and soul.

Owned by Chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger, Ciudad is a hip restaurant with a great menu. Ciudad indulges guests with meals from all Latin countries of South America, Central America, Cuba, Spain, and Portugal. We went there last Friday and enjoyed portions of their menu!
Feniger, a Lesbian and her Straight ally Milliken have worked together for years in Paris, Chicago, and now settled in Los Angeles. People remember them most from their show Too Hot Tamales on the Food Network.

Kraft Foods an ally for equality recently penned a deal over Cadbury’s sale for over $19.6 Billion. This will create the largest confectionery company in the world and is getting everyone involved over the stir. There will be layoffs as redundancy’s are a result of any merger, hopefully more jobs will be created with the creation of new products. We love the Cadbury Egg’s in concept, but have you ever eaten one? Candy is a delicate process as we’ll show you in our upcoming Valentine’s Day Vlog on how to make Chocolate roses. Learn more about the deal here.
