Super Bowl Has Never Been So Gay?

February 7, 2010

Isn’t it amazing how the conversation has been changed. Never in a million years would one think that the Super Bowl would be competing for attention with the Gay populous, that is until the fake site ManCrunch came into the spotlight.

A game that has been upstaged by commercials that objectify women, are sexually explicit, and stereotype men as couch potatoes who seem to only care about women, sex, and fatty foods is now in the middle of a uterus and fake, Gay hook up site commercials. Is it now clear that there are more seats in the TV room than people thought? Or, is this just clever marketing and advertising?

Miller Highlife, Friend of the Little Guys

February 5, 2010

Here is a company that really looks out for others. Miller is very pro-Gay, but if you read our site before, you already know that. As we all know, Super Bowl ad space is expensive and only large companies with major advertising budgets can afford them-or recently launched fake websites that got a lot of attention who we won’t mention. Anyway, Miller is giving their big game commercial time to the small businesses out there who really need the business!  Check out their site to see who they are helping out this year! This is such a great idea!

We love Football!

Oh yeah, the picture above alone exclaims how Gays don’t watch football (sarcasm). If Brian Urlacher hadn’t broken his hand during the first game of the season no one would have seen us on a Sunday this year. So SHUT UP Donny Deutsch, you don’t have a clue what you are talking about! Check out his stereotypical comments here.

CBS-C an’t B elieve this S #!7!

January 31, 2010

CBSRemember that scene in the Stallone movie Demolition Man where the characters of Sandra Bullock and Benjamin Bratt were exclaiming their love of the commercial radio station…all commercials and jingles all the time. Well, with all this hype about commercials…

Now, CBS, a channel that has benefitted from Gay actors and Gay storylines is filtering their commercials towards an anti-Gay, conservative audience. WTF?! Let’s take a step back for a bit. What does this say? Are couch spectators more concerned about commercialism than the actual subject of the night? Seems like it! What to do?

Here’s the way CBS should solve this, maybe they didn’t agree with the ManCrunch ad. Its unfortunate for ManCrunch, cause we all know that racy ads sell, and ManCrunch did not re-invent the wheel in regards to sex selling. Their ad was quick, racy, and funny. However, if CBS was going for a more conservative market, i.e. the pro-life commercial, couldn’t they have accepted a bidding for a conservative Gay commercial? Match.com where are you? CBS needs to fix this situation in an equal and neutral manner immediately! It may not be more left, it may not be more right, but it needs to gain good attention and give respect to their ENTIRE audience. Us Gays watch football too!
