With very surprising words, Maggie Gallagher has stepped down from her post as president.

“I have some very good news to announce for you today: NOM has a new president. Today, the board of NOM announced that we are promoting Brian Brown, who you all know as NOM’s capable and charismatic executive director, to the position of President of NOM.”

Justice is furthered in the state of Maryland. Maryland Attorney General Douglas F. Gansler stated that his opinion is that the state must recognize same-sex marriages from other states. This is effective immediately!

Maryland recognizes out-of-state, Gay and Lesbian marriages!

We hope this will bring another state closer to recognizing in-state marriages so that Maryland will be merrier!
