Saturday, the country of Lithuania had their first Gay Pride Parade! We congratulate you Lithuanians who stand proud of their LGBT community. They have our support.

This week, two countries’ capitals will legalize same-sex marriage! In Mexico City (D.F.), the Legislative Assembly approved same-sex marriage and it will go into effect March 4, 2010!

In our own capital, Washington D.C., they already recognize same-sex marriages from other states. On March 3, 2010, D.C. will be able to issue same-sex marriage licenses, and perform marriages beginning on March 9th.

We wish both capitals love y amor as they embrace the newly united families of same-sex couples.
