Big Gay Ice Cream Truck

May 7, 2010

gayicecream1-149x300Though not in NYC, we loved virtually following the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck all summer long, make sure you don’t miss it this summer.

THE BIG GAY ICE CREAM TRUCK we hear tastes as good as it looks. One post on their site has a description of the “Monday Sunday is a waffle cone lined with Nutella, twist ice cream, Dulce de Leche, sea salt, and whipped cream.”

That sounds like a perfect summer anxiety cure.

Creme Brulee French Toast?! Yummy!

May 7, 2010

ManhattanB&BSounds amazing right?  Well, it is!  If you are in Manhattan Beach, California, then you are in luck! Manhattan Bread and Bagel provides all customers with the freshest baked goods in SoCal. Have pride in what you eat.  The owner of Manhattan Bread & Bagel, Michael Keegan has “always supported marriage equality and always will.”

Not only is everything in this shop delicious, there is a real heart at the store’s core. You can taste the love there. Manhattan Bread and Bagel’s deserves a stop in from all of us in the Equal Junction community, especially when you follow their commitment to us at their local level-where change really needs to start boys and girls.

Wisely, Michael Keegan has endorsed openly gay Mayor Pro Tem Mitch Ward for California Assembly 53rd District, who will fight for equality with every opportunity he gets.  Learn about them both over a coffeee and one of their scrumptious, sinful scones.

Miller Highlife, Friend of the Little Guys

February 5, 2010

Miller_Lite

Here is a company that really looks out for others. Miller is very pro-Gay, but if you read our site before, you already know that. As we all know, Super Bowl ad space is expensive and only large companies with major advertising budgets can afford them-or recently launched fake websites that got a lot of attention who we won’t mention. Anyway, Miller is giving their big game commercial time to the small businesses out there who really need the business!  Check out their site to see who they are helping out this year! This is such a great idea!
