Equal Junction

The past few days have been wonderful. We are fortunate enough to have our families join together to share love, laughter, and humor since we began our visit to our hometown Chicago.  I (Marcos) cannot believe my little brother will be a teenager soon. He plays a mean bass and his hair keeps getting longer-all the hipsters are jealous. Oh to be that age again.

Our in-laws were together for the weekend and had a wonderful time swimming, kayaking, hiking, and talking of stories past. We must remember whether blood or not, your family is your family. We both read constantly about the negative in our community such as the recent crimes against Gay men in Palm Spring, CA to the recent  suicides of LGBT’s who cannot wake up to another day of feeling they have to be ridiculed.

Keep in mind the one’s who do love you healthily. Follow your heart and love one-another. It can get better all the time.
