41 Years Ago today, the Gay rights movement was catapulted to headlines as brave LGBT’s in New York City, who were tired of being discriminated against, were pushed to far at the Stonewall Inn Bar by the police. Although Gay movements have occurred prior to Stonewall, this one was special because of the multiple days of rioting and triumph our community endured. Thank you to those who were there this night decades ago. We would not be who we are today without your strength.
